ARTIST NOTES: A lovely Saturday morning at Auburn Village in Hawthorn, Victoria. It was one of the rare and treasured sunny weekend mornings that Melbourne gets in winter, and I was sketching at site as part of the Melbourne Urben Sketchers sketchcrawl. Painted this in studio keeping a sketch and a photograph as reference.

Painted on Arches rough paper.
