Artist: Virginia  Bucknell.   .

In her early years Virginia studied ballet, gymnastics & ice skating. In 5^th Class, whilst attending Narraweena Public School, she won her first Art competition.

During the 70’s Virginia progressed to classical ballet, studying full time and teaching at the Ann McDonald School of Dance; Ashfield, Sydney.

In 1980:

• Was exhibited for ‘Royal Blind Society Art Exhibition’ in Sydney.

• Was awarded a scholarship to study dance in London.

Through the early 1980’s Virginia danced through Europe, including Turkey & Syria.

On her return to Sydney through the mid 1980’s Virginia continued to study dance, acting & singing, at Ross Coleman School of Performing Arts.

Through the mid to late 1980’s Virginia continued to dance in Japan & Sydney.

Since the 1980’s to date, Virginia has produced many paintings and continues to develop her style of artwork, selling many along the way by Exhibition, Commission and word of mouth.

• Royal Blind Society, Town Hall Sydney.

To date Virginia continues to study fine Art in Sydney.
